Why Use a Financial Adviser?

As your financial adviser, we act as a link on your behalf, between you and the insurance companies. We identify your requirements and then search the market to find cover that best suits you. Using a financial adviser means you get the best advice for you, your family, your lifestyle and your business. Our knowledge, experience and risk management skills help us get an in-depth understanding of your life and insurance requirements. We identify risks, recommend the best protection for your needs, negotiate terms with the insurer and give objective advice.

There is no fee for our service. The insurer remunerates us when you take an insurance policy. The insurance companies set the pricing of the premiums and these premiums are the same whether you go direct to the insurance company or through an adviser. 

Of course one of the biggest benefits is having someone on your side at claim time.  In times of stress this can make all the difference. Should you need to make a claim, our specialist claims team will manage the process for you, from start to finish. We know what information is needed and we guide you through the process. Our knowledge of how policies work and our relationships with insurers ensure your claims are settled fairly and promptly and in line with your policy wording. 

Not all companies and policy wordings are created equal. Some companies are better suited for certain occupations, family history, even by gender. Our job is to know the policy wordings and recommend to you where best suits your needs and why.

And with astute planning she will ensure that you have the right cover at the right time to give you peace of mind.

Olivia graduated as a Senior Associate from ANZIIF – Australia & NZ Institute of Insurance and Finance in 2010, with a Diploma in Financial Services specialising in insurance. In 2014, Olivia was finalist in the ANZIIF Young Professional of the year awards and most recently she was ‘Broker Of The Year’ finalist in the 2020 Women in Insurance Awards.

Alex has worked in the financial services industry for nearly a decade, and throughout her journey has gained extensive knowledge in the risk insurance field. Being able to focus solely on insurance during recent years has allowed Alex to complete her Level 5 National Certificate in Financial Services - specialising in Life/Health/Disability Insurances.

Alex protects what is most important to her clients, providing advice based on their individual needs and assisting them with the decision-making process.
